“The Sound Behind You II” at CR 10, 2016

This was a site-specific durational performance piece for "The Sound Behind You II" curated by Vanessa Albury and Rachel Rampleman with Karsten Krejcarek. This exhibition was at the CR10 Contemporary Art Space in Germantown, NY in 2016.

The purpose of the exhibition was to address the relationship between art and nature. Over the course of two days, I built a garden using Crayola's Model Magic on three drywall panels covered in grass, adhered to the surface with plaster. Though nature often has the upper hand, in this case, I was able to mold and manipulate it.
